Defense chief: Anti-missile system in place

Japan’s Defense Minister Gen Nakatani says his ministry is fully prepared for a possible test-firing of a ballistic missile by North Korea. He says anti-missile systems have been deployed in and around Tokyo. Nakatani spoke to reporters after the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday about signs that North Korea may test-launch a long-range ballistic missile. He said Patriot Advanced Capability-3, or PAC-3, surface-to-air missile systems have been deployed at the Defense Ministry compound in Ichigaya, Tokyo, and in Asaka and Narashino, near Tokyo.   Source and image: NHK Share this:TweetEmail
